R.I.P

On October 5, 2011 the world lost a hero. A revolutionary character. A visionary and creative genius. One who changed the computer industry, as we know it.  He was one of the most amazing business managers of all time. What did Steve mean to me? He is the reason I became interested in technology. He has been fighting against pancreatic cancer for a long time and yet he still kept going and kept by the company he co founded 35 years ago. He will be deeply missed by friends and family and all technology enthusiasts around the world.

Since the re-name to sarcy tech, I thought i'd change the look of the site aswell, so by this weekend the website will be re-built and will look all shiny and nice!

New Ad for iPad

Apple released their first television ad for the iPad 2 yesterday 'We Believe'.

This is what we believe. Technology alone is not enough. Faster, thinner, lighter...those are all good things. But when technology gets out of the way, everything becomes more delightful...even magical. That's when you leap forward. That's when you end up with something like this.

I saw this on the sun newspaper this morning on my paper round. Zoo keepers have decided to put a few iPads in the gorilla cage (as you do) and see what happens. Funnily enough, they have treated them "like babies" carrying them around everywhere they go! For the Full Story, Click Here

WWDC 2011 Sold out in under 12 hours!

Less than 12 hours after passes went on sale, Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference set for June 6th-10th has already sold out. It beats last years WWDC where passes sold out after 8 days. Passes were only $1599 and Apple is not releasing anything by the looks, there only showing off the new OS's (iOS 5 and OS X Lion)

My Review of 2011 Macbook Pro

My Very first review. Quite frankly I did terrible. But this is an amazing computer, highly recommended!

It's all about apple!

To start off with its a big happy 10th birthday to OSX. On March 24th, 2001 as Mac OS X 10.0 with an internal codename of "Cheetah" was released as a revolutionary OS. Now expecting the seventh version of OS X this summer it has come a long way! 

iPad 2 is cheaper than first generation in the UK! which is fantastic news because it means i don't have to work as much :P About 5% has been knocked off the price, making it now £399 for the 16GB wifi model. The iPad 2 will be released tomorrow in 25 other countries and as soon as I have mine I shall review it...aha speaking of a review....
